Berlin is up..

I'm heading to Berlin in August, so I'm hoping to see the sneaker-culture over there. Hopefully, I'll also get me one of these...

Air Jordan 2009??

Since Air Jordan finally reached the magic number of 23, there has been loads of rumors about what's going to happen with the brand. The latest word on the street is that from next year (2009), Air Jordan will no longer release their shoes numerical (Jordan1-Jordan23), but will be naming them instead with the release year. So next year, 2009, Air Jordan will be dropping the "Air Jordan 2009". BUT, will they still be dropping retros..?

FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR X PUMA

Remember this guy...?

Puma is doing it big with the MTV YO! Raps series. Something interesting now is that Puma is making a Fresh Prince of Bel Air Pack. There's two packs, one for the Philly side and one for the Bel Air side. The pack contains a Clyde, First Round, bags and watches to match. Both packs will be released on the 17th of May 2008. Pretty DOPE idea. I've been waiting for someone to do a "Fresh Prince" on some sneakers. I was hoping Nike, but I think Puma did an OKAY job with this one. It could've been better...Via: Hypebeast

80's Movies X Nike SB

Two new Dunk SB's has leaked out on the world wide web. Both inspired from movies from the 80's. The "Ferris Bueller" Dunk reminds me of the Beast pack Dunk, so that's not so cool. But the "Thrashin" Dunk actually looks ok, hopefully it looks a little better in real life. I have no clue when these kicks will release, hopefully later this year. -What do you think?

Tech Pack Supreme & Running Man

I haven't seen some nice Air Maxes in a very long time, but I think Nike did it again this time with the release of the AM1 from the tech pack supreme and the AM90 from the Running man series designed by Misha (Perks of P.A.M).Another sneaker that I'm excited for this year is the Air Safari from the tech pack. SUPER FRESH!All these kicks should be right around the corner, maybe even next week. Wallace perhaps?

JORDAN 23??

Doesn't it look like something AND1 would do...? I'm a Jordan fan, but this is weak.

MAY THE COURT FORCE BE IN YOU...

Very fresh colorways for the court forces! OG AM1 & AM95! Hopefully a OG AM90 on it's way? No word yet on release on these babies, but word on the street is later this year.

The Grammy's are turning the BIG 5-0 this year, and so is my uncle Gino. Happy Birthday to both of you. But in the honor of the Grammy's, Nike made this special Dunk Hi for all the celebs, but some will pop at Fred Segal Melrose today!

Ps: I don't like it.

We all remember our Chinese athletes at the 1984 Olympics, in Los Angeles, right? Well Nike has released a series of fresh sneakers inspired by the successful athletes from China. This pack, which is a CHINA EXCLUSIVE, includes Air Max 1, Vintage Cortez, Dunk Trainer High, Court Force Mid and a Legend Low.A shame that they won't be available here in Europe. We got China-Box though.... See you in Beijing later this year.

What are they thinking?

So, this is what's going on in the realms of Nike as of now. Just as one thought the hybrid trend had peaked, Nike comes out with this, the Air Max 1 Ben Drury x Air Max 360 hybrid. Messing with a classic like this can only render you speechless, in a negative way that is. Shame on thee, Nike ;)And just for the record, here's how the Air Max 1 Ben Drury should look for now and always..Pics courtesy of katc.com and our very own Tobie, respectedly.
